James Earle Hill of Ridgely, MD went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Friday, September 20, 2019. Jamie was born October 22, 1969 in Washington, D.C. He was the only child of Joan Elizabeth Hill and James Edward Hill of Silver Spring, MD.
Jamie was a client of the Benedictine Community Program, where he has resided since 1980. He was loved and highly thought of by all who knew him. He was a valuable member of the programs Busy Bee staff where he earned a certificate in hospitality training.
Jamie loved keeping a breast of the major sports teams and having his family record his favorite TV programs for his home visits. But his favorite passion was travel books, as he loved to take car rides. He was familiar with every route on the Eastern Shore and most of Maryland.
Through the years that Jamie had been a part of the Benedictine Community, many people have made a positive influence in his development. Too many to mention all. But the family would like to express our sincere gratitude for the quality of life you have extended to Jamie. The Benedictine Community was Jamie’s home away from home.
Jamie’s passing has a left a huge void in those who had the pleasure of knowing him, especially the members of his family. On behalf of the entire family, we wish you all God’s grace.
