Joyce Ann Ennels Horsey 70 departed this life on Sunday, October 7, 2018 in Cambridge, Maryland at UMSMC at Dorchester. She was born in Cambridge on December 2, 1947 to the late Curlette and Venice Ennels.

In later years, she had a goal to finish school at Delaware Technical College in Georgetown, Delaware and Kaplan University in Iowa studying to help other people. She received her Bachelors Degree in Social Work and Human Services at the age of 64. Her motto was “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13.

Then in later years, she became a member of the Faith Seventh Day Adventist Church in Cambridge. Although she later had some health and physical limitations, it did not keep her from being involved. At Faith Church, Joyce wore several hats, including: Women’s Ministries Leader, Treasurer, Director of Vacation Bible School, Children’s Class Teacher, Choir member, Sabbath School Superintendent, and joining with her “sidekick” Doris in coordinating various events. She loved to be involved in the Adult Sabbath School class.

Joyce was a devoted and loving wife to Edward (Dinky) Lee Horsey for 18 years.
