Lavinia Elizabeth Heath

December 31, 1944 ~ October 26, 2019 (age 74)

Obituary

Lavinia Elizabeth Heath, 74 of Queenstown, MD departed this life on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Anne Arundel General Hospital in Annapolis, MD surrounded by all of her family. Lavinia was born, December 31, 1944 to Samuel and Marie Johnson.

Lavinia or Beanie, as she was known to many, attended Kennard schools.  Lavinia worked various jobs throughout her life and enjoyed being able to try many things. In her early years, Lavinia attended John Wesley United Methodist Church. She was married to Oliver Wendell Heath and from that union six children were born.

Lavinia loved people and people loved the sassy side of her. Her favorite motto was “I don’t bother no body and I don’t want no body to bother me.”  She had a passion for shopping especially with her daughter, Crystal who would shop for hours at a time.  Lavinia had been more places than many never even having a drivers license, but could tell you how to drive and where to go.  Most of all she loved her children-Troy was the doctor, Crystal was the chauffeur, Keith was the carpenter, Darren supplied the money,Trudy did everything under the sun and her son in-law Andre was very special to her also.

Lavinia leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Trudy (Michael) of Grasonville, MD and Crystal (Andre) Chester of Trappe, MD; four sons, Keith (Melissa) Johnson of Cordova, MD, Darren Johnson of Annapolis, MD, Troy (Linda) Johnson of Stevensville, MD; seven grandchildren, K.J., Brie, T.J. Cameron, D.J., Kyishia and Chyna Chester who was the mini-me who Lavinia carried in her pocket and on her side always; two great grandchildren;two sisters, Loretta Winston (Trappe, MD) and Ellen Taylor of Queenstown, MD; two brothers, Sterling (Diane) Johnson of South Carolina and Samuel Johnson of Denton, MD; one goddaughter, Aiyaunah Wright; one special niece, Cheryl  (Jack) Taylor, who people always thought she was her daughter; special friends, Thelma Brown and Iris Moore; cousins, Marjorie Green and Helena Stanford and a host of nieces, nephews, other cousins and special friends near and far.
